Verizon Galaxy Note 3 shipped!

Lucky you. I ordered 10/4 but it was processed as equipment purchase on 10/7 ....as of now still says it's processing.
 
I have a good chance that mine will be here on Thursday 8:30am :D ..... If not the afternoon guy will deliver at 1:30pm ;) The afternoon guy really digs this stuff:p

For Everyone who's Verizon order still says Processing, Here is the way to receive your tracking information:

1. Go to https://www.fedex.com/fedextrack/
2. Type in your location code 1st.. (mine is 0423101)
3. Followed by an Underscore ( _ )
4. Then Your order number, MUST BE 9 DIGITS so if yours is only 7 digits, for example 1234567, fill the prior area with 0's so 001234567
5. Track by reference on FedEx your number should look something like 0423101_001234567

You'll need to supply the country and destination zip code as well.

I didn't clip the part that shows delivery is 10/10 as that had my name and stuff on it, but it does. As others have stated, this is only proof that Fedex has received shipping instructions for the order but its clearly coming out of Memphis and its clearly VZW. Note: I have NOT received tracking number from Verizon yet. I got this via signing up for Fedex delivery notifications service (free to register/use).

I received my tracking number today and it shows picked up in Memphis with the delivery date of the 10th. I called FedEx to have them hold at their facility so I could pick it up on Thursday morning but Verizon has a contract with them that prevents any changes until one attempt has been made. FedEx has until 8pm to deliver on Thursday. Once again, there really is no benefit to preordering from Verizon as I could walk into a store on the morning of the 10th and get this phone before I received the pre-order. This is the last phone I ever pre-order from Verizon.
 
Looks like there is a good chance of a locked SIM of some sort though as even though I specified using my old SIM when I ordered, the shipping manifest says explicitly that a SIM is being sent as well.

I got my tracking number as well. 10/10 by 4:30.
The main benefit to pre-ordering is to not have to walk into a store and wait in line. Very painful process. Went to Best Buy for my son's Note 2 a couple months ago with no one in line and it took a good 40 minutes easily. Went to Verizon around Christmas for another phone and was second in line besides the 2 associates helping their current customers. They took around 30-40 minutes before either one was ready for the guy in front of me. The time in the store that trip was easily 1.5 hours.
So, yeah... I see a benefit. That, and I don't have to take time off of work.

I just got my notification. I paid for overnight delivery and am not getting it, so I had to call for a refund for overnighting. SO irritated.
 
Yay!!!!! My phone was picked up this morning but for some reason the verizonwireless/order status link doesn't reflect that so I signed into my verizon and looked at my orders. Expected to Thursday.

Verizon sucks for not shipping my note 3 till the iphone 5s gold is available to be shipped.
 
FINALLY! I got my shipping notice from Verizon, for 10/10 by 8pm

I paid for next day shipping and also have the dreaded shipping notice for 2day shipping on the label.

Am I mad? Yes, but I can not stay mad because I am soooo excited to finally have my delivery date!

It's sitting in Memphis....My Precious...:cool:

With FedEx, if you paid for 2 or 3 day shipping, it would sit in Memphis until the day before, and then get delivered on the day of service you selected.

Im still waiting impatiently for Verizon to charge my card! I preordered at the store and my ship by date says 10/10. Any time now I guess.
