Verizon Galaxy S3 - Sdm trouble

I am currently on android 4.1.2 and when i go to select software update it says, "unfortunately, SDM has stopped. Any Help?

SDM is the Software Download Manager. You could go into the Application manager and ensure that it hasn't been disabled. You could also clear the cache and force stop it, then restart the phone and try again.
