Verizon Galaxy S4 viber/Skype problems

I just got my black Verizon Galaxy S4. I place a call on viber after a restart everything is fine until the call gets disconnected. Then i try to call again via viber it shows ringing then it connects but i cant hear the other party nor they can hear me. Also if im talking on viber and get a normal phone call i cant pick up the phone call nor switch back to viber everything freezes !!! the only way to fix the problem is restart the phone. Any one going through this? is it my handset ?

I have EXACTLY this same problem. I also am sometimes unable to hang up a call if the other party doesnt answer. Once I put it to my ear and the screen goes black and my buttons light up, but I cant get any other display.

I am using samsung S4 and recently skype application got updated, after that i am unable set as avaliable mode, can any one help me please

I have the same issue with naver line and viber but its only when I use bluetooth. The way i was able to get around it is to shut off my bluetooth before I end the call. If not the app and phone crash and I have to do a battery pull.

I discovered that my Bluetooth headset was causing all the problem. I was using Motorola H720. Now i am just using the wired headset that came with it and it runs flawlessly. I'm thinking about using a jawbone Bluetooth maybe its a motorolla thing !!! any ideas?

Regarding skype with the new update you cant sign out anymore without force stopping that app. So to exit you have to force stop it. To change your status click on on your pic at the upper right corner, after clicking you will be able to change your status.

Its not a motorola issue since I have a jawbone icon and jawbone era and seeing the same issue. I to have switched to a wired headset and times I use my bluetooth it will work fine just have to remember to shut off bluetooth before the call disconnects both when talking over voip or before the call stops ringing. I have emailed the vendors of the apps and havent got a response back. I was thinking of trying some roms to see if it fixes the issue. Let me know how it works out. I love this phone but this a huge problem since I mostly use voip apps with bluetooth.

I've contacted naver line about the issue and no response. It definitely seems related directly to s4 and the bluetooth. Anyone else have any success getting it to work?
