After our latest update we received about two weeks ago, it prevented root and roll back so we can't even flash a older stock image and go back and root our phones. This sucks I was finally about to root my phone after debating it for a couple months now. And of course right when I'm ready to root, I find out the exploit was patched and it also prevented rollback. I'm new to verizon but I already am not liking them. Granted it's partly my fault due to me always being way too excited for OTA updates and instantly installing them. Anyways back to topic, anyone know of a work around?

So far there isn't one. You'll probably be stuck waiting for a while because a new exploit is going to need to be found.

May I ask what do you want to root for?

I've always jailbroke my iphones but Android lets me do everything out of the box so I never really bothered with it

Just wait another week or two and I'm sure that you'll be able to root once again.
