Verizon GNex in Canada

I'm traveling to Toronto in a few weeks and I haven't been there in a long time, certainly not since an Android phone became indispensable to my existence. A few questions if anyone can help out:

1. How is data roaming in the Toronto area in terms of type and coverage? Will my GNex get LTE, 3G, or nothing? I think Rogers is the service it might get, but I'm not sure.

2. How expensive will mobile data roaming be if I keep data on, assuming normal/moderate usage? I'm on a grandfathered unlimited data plan.

3. Are phone calls obscenely expensive? I don't plan to make many, but just so I know.

I can always ask Verizon, but you guys are more fun, so I thought I'd start here. Thanks.

I called Verizon and set up my phone for Canada. Paid for 250 Mb data usage and set up a phone plan for making unlimited calls from Canada, After I got back I changed back to my original plan. I do not remember what it costs but remember it was worth it.
