Just wanted to report that Verizon GS6 doesn't have the battery drain for cell stand by that we were seeing in the reviews. I know they were using a T-Mobile version, but based what I've seen from over 15 customers and myself and co-workers, it doesn't seem to be an issue.

Here's an example for today..

Definitely no 128GB and no Gold as well. I don't expect that to change forum awhile. We had close to 70 Galaxies today and we are almost sold out. Mainly black 32gb, some 64gb. Even white was limited.

Like I said, Order it, don't wait...

I have the T-Mobile version and Cell Standby isn't even on my list in Battery Usage.

But Google Services..wtf..

I don't think which service is on the top of list means alot. Just report a calibration result with SOT.

Is this what all Verizon battery graphs look like ? It doesn't tell you time remaining1428712833398.jpg

Not so sure...and this is with 3.5 hours of SOT. Cell standby eating as much battery as 3.5 hours of screen use out of 5 hours off charger. Looks like an issue to me.

Seems like WiFi was off on OP's screen shot. Maybe that's why there is no cell standby. Did you make sure to turn off always scanning for Wifi, smart network switch?

Looks like you're having similar issue as me. No way with our screen on time being half of the total off charger time should be less or anywhere near cell standby. That means that this phone is going through battery an equal amount of time whether you're using it or not.

I've had WiFi on the whole time. I don't even have Advanced Calling activated on the phone yet. I have it set to not search for WiFi when off and most of the time I was at home connected to my WiFi anyways.

I don't see any VoLTE options on our phone. I think that's our version of Advanced Calling which comes disabled by default. I can't think of anything else besides turning off WiFi (which i haven't tried yet) to see if that helps. It's a viable solution for me if it's a week or so before an update is pushed, but any more than that and the phones going back. Too bad cuz I absolutely love it otherwise. Even though I think I see some scratches. I'm ignoring that and will inspect more tomorrow. Going to do a test tonight and see how much battery drains when I leave WiFi on. I will turn off all edge features including night clock.
