Folks
I ordered a GN3 for in store pickup, fianc? went to go pick it up (she is furloughed nothing else better to do) and I was going to transfer my nexus microsim over to the GN3.
They were giving her issues saying the sim won't fit at all because one is a NFC sim (I know it will work just fine with my sim from my nexus) and the other isn't so I told her to put me on the phone with the manager. I told the manager I don't want to activate any sim (used another line to get this phone) and I just want the phone and I will take care of the rest. Manager insisted there is no way possible for her to leave the store without activating a NFC sim and then I can put my sim when I go home.
As I didn't want her trip to the store to be in vein I said yes but don't put it on the current phone as its being used just activate it then deactivate it (dumb imho)
any whose she went on to say this is because its IN STORE only otherwise you wouldnt need to if you did it thru the mail (which is true, they would send you a SIM and you wouldn?t use it, you?d just put your current sim in and it would work).
Just wondering if anyone knows the process and if this is true?
