Anyone else having stupidly long ping times and slow down/up speeds after 4.3? Could be a weird coincidence involving my local network suddenly having issues today, but right after I updated, 4G went to crap...

Have you tried updating Profile & PRL under Settings/ System Updates/

Go to your app drawer.

Find Settings

Go all the way down near the bottom you will see System Updates, click on that and then select to update Profile and PRL if you have those options. Sometimes after an update that is needed to get everything back in sync. No promises but it may work.

Nothing in System Updates except Check New and Status. I'm going to have to take it into Verizon tomorrow and probably get a refurbished phone that's in worse shape than the one I have.
Wonderful. Sometimes I really hate this carrier. Just my luck to get a One that has a bum 4G radio.
I won't be updating the next one until 4.4 hits. Not willing to risk it.

Looking at the open HTC One forum there were some complaints about 4G when the other carriers updated to 4.3. Some complained of not being able to or slow connections to 4G and others complained that their 4G notification icon wouldn't go away. Not sure what they did, but you may want to check the open forum to see what advice they were giving. Also, and I know this will be met with resistance, you may consider a factory reset. Many times after a OS update factory resets fix a lot of the bugs from the update. If you are already considering trying to exchange the device this may be something to consider if for no other reason than you would be setting it up all over again anyway if they trade it out.

i second a reset. my wife s4 was having major data leak issues after the upgrade to 4.3 (like getting notifications 5 days into the billing cycle that she had used 75% data). We factory restored it and the data leak stopped.
