I don't see calling it "White" as being so incorrect that someone needs to be called out over it was mostly the point I was trying to make.

DROID branding is the worst thing to ever happen to Android, ever.

Agree and disagree.

The Droid marketing campaign was nearly as successful as Samsung's Galaxy advertisements; Droid roared into the spotlight and gave Android it's kick start.

But, in today's world, yes, I agree, I hate it. More annoying are when people ask if one has "a Droid" because that's what the general population thinks Android phones are called.

So while I'm not pleased with the effects the Droid marketing is current having, I can't hate the advertising that even caught my attention and immediately stole me away from the iPhone hype.
