Verizon HTC One M8 Marshmallow Issues after installing

[AC Question]

After installing Marshmallow on my M8 last night the phone hangs on the red Verizon screen?! After 5 hours I unplugged the phone because it was to hot to touch for long and after another 2 hours of no change the phone shutdown due to drained battery. This was the only way I was able to shutdown my phone! Again one else having similar problems?

Can you hold Power to shut down the phone, then boot into Recovery for a Cache Partition wipe?

Anyone else having issues charging? With or without the original charger? I can't get mine to charge with Tronsmart or Verizon brand charger. I don't have the original HTC charger.

Battery drain from hell.

I installed Marshmallow last night, no issues at all so far. Hope that lasts.

I have the same problem taked yo the tech he said phone was bricked and there is no way to solve the problem.
