I just held down on the triangle then it said app info. Go there and hit force stop. It goes away. Phone works fine.

Just got it today, activated & everything. Now there's a white triangle above the signal bars & a triangle in the notification tray that says Voice roaming / Roaming is on. I already switched the preferred network to lte/cdma. How do I get rid of this?

Make sure in your mobile data setting, make sure that your data roaming is off then restart your phone

I had the same issue, in settings go to more.. open mobile networks click system select change the CDMA roaming mode, select home only. icon will leave.

Swipe down from the top, press and hold on the icon, tap more settings, tap accessibility (or something), tap importance, then set importance to low. The triangle should be gone right away.
