Verizon LG G2 - Why can't I paste?

I have this problem all the time with my G2, it only wants to copy text, but never wants to let me paste it. Is there a special program I need because it doesn't work like my S3 did.

I don't experience this. Can you give an example, like what app you are in when copying and pasting?

All you do is long press then pick paste (last thing you copied) or clip tray (everything you have copied unless you have deleted it) to pick what you want to paste.
