Anyone have any idea idea why verizon is lagging behind on lollipop for the m7. Sprint and t-mobile should have it already right. It's been saying certification stage for a while now.

Welcome to Android Central!

Carriers seem to like to take their sweet time on updates here lately.

I believe that the last date I saw for expected completion of certification by Verizon was today. The best source for information on HTC update expectations seems to be to follow @moversi on Twitter.

EDIT: Just checked Twitter, and as of the last couple of days, the M7 for Verizon is expected to get technical approval today. I would expect the OTA to start shortly after approval, it was 10:00 am (Pacific?) the next day for AT&T M8.

Thanks for the info and sorry for late reply. Still Nada yet for a ota. But it doesn't surprise me that verizon is dragging

Verizon I believe rejected the latest update. So who knows when it will happen. May???

I'll probably have the M9 before the Big Red version of the M7 gets the update.

On Twitter, @moversi just mentioned that the M7 Lollipop for Verizon is back in the lab, and expect approval "within next couple weeks. Nearly there!"

So assuming that Verizon approves this time, we are probably looking at May for the OTA.
