Verizon LTE Down... AGAIN!

Still no 4G or 3G in Southern California...switched to CDMA only to hopefully slow down the battery drain. Tried switching airplane mode on/off like someone suggested and still no 3G.

3g back up in Peoria/Pekin IL. FFR, this is a non 4g area so my gn is always just on CDMA.

Correct, my Xoom lost 4G first (though it gracefully kicked off to 3G...) my Galaxy Nexus and hour or so later lost 4G, but setting it to CDMA only and rebooting got me on to 3G ok.

4G working for me in Phoenix. 8.79 Mbps down and 1.93 Mbps up.

I had 4G
Then it went away, and my phone just auto-dialed *22889

edit: and now i have service again.
edit2: and now data is gone again

Glad you can actually get 4G to complain about not having it. Where I live I don't get 4G.

LOL! Ok, that stings, but I hear you. I don't know what is up with my GNex but I have until 1/15/12 to return it so I will keep posting about my experience (and complaining to VZW) in the hopes that the bugs can get fixed (if fixable). I really don't want to have to give the phone up.

FYI: In San Diego, I can get 3G data if I change my Settings, Wireless & networks, Network Mode to CDMA only. Otherwise, on CMDA/LTE, I get absolutely no data.

If it is a software issue (and it might be), it will probably take them longer than that to fix it. Tough choice...take it back to be safe or cross your fingers and hold onto it.
