Verizon LTE Down... AGAIN!

No LTE in the Boise ID area! I'm so glad I had to go the entire day getting upset thinking my new Bionic was a piece of shiz, only to come home & find out from AC that it's VZW's own crap!! ...

It'd be nice if they sent us an alert saying "Our apologies, we can't handle the service we have offered you, please bear with us while we don't care what happens to you"

Maybe not those exact words, but you get the drift... just sayin! haha

Same here - picked up a Nexus recently and thought I had done something to screw up the data connection. Then I read here that VZW has yet another major outage. Good to know but not good to happen :)

Portland, OR 4G still down, 3G spotty connectivity with my GN. Sad thing is my co worker has a Razr and he didn't drop his 4G connection. The gloating was almost unbearable:'(

So update.... 3G is up in Colorado but still no 4G.

Correction... 4G just came up.

UPDATE: Just lose it... Sigh...

We were without 4G most of the day in Harrisburg, PA.

Also, for some reason I can't get a 4G signal in my office at work even though I get a great 3G signal?

Anyway, I took the Galaxy Nexus back to Verizon and am back using my wife's old Fascinate. I'll try another 4G phone when Verizon has their network working properly. Weekly outages aren't really acceptable to me.

So you returned a phone to go to a 3g phone that your 4g phone could have went to?

When I called Verizon they said they were upgrading their 4G network...... upgrade fail?

I could actually believe that with this outage. I've never seen ANY 4g phone revert to EVDO instead of EHRPD unless the user chose that. Mine defaulted to that as soon as 3g came back. Very strange.

i got a $10 credit for the outage... at first they were like.. "we arent giving any credits due to a nationwide outage".. and then i told them.. u should credit the whole nation then for the inconvenience.. a hold later.. $10 for today

I just wish they would come out and say they were upgrading their network or at least let everyone know what is going on and why these things keep happening and what they plan to do to try and avoid these from occurring again.

Right now 4G is going up and down.

I just imagine the Verizon support pushing the reset button..... "no bonus this year... screw you Verizon."

4G back on here in central Maryland, and seemingly... a little stronger than before.

Possibly placebo.

Yeah back on 3g here was on 4g for a lil while .
Also I read on some of the hundreds of websites reporting the outage that some people can toggle the nexus from the cdma/lte(4g) setting to the cdma(3g) and work around the outage and some cannot . So I guess thats just the luck of the draw.

I bet AT&T,and the other carriers are laughing now
