Verizon messages plus

For some reason messages plus will mute notifications for one of my contacts (my wife) so I unmute and a couple days later its muted again.. Anyone else having this problem??

And this is a bad thing? j/k Have you dug in to the settings? And it's JUST your wife getting muted, NOT any other contacts? Maybe check the settings under your wife's info within your contacts app, maybe the issue is there.

I'm not with Verizon so I can't really check their app.

Sounds like a setup lol, jk. A hard press on the conversation will bring up options, one of the options is mute conversation. Possible it's being hit on accident? Or kids playing with phone?

Seems like your Note 8 really likes the table near your couch because that's definitely where it's trying to have you sleep!

LOL I know right... As soon as I come thru the door and see her standing with hands on hips I pull my phone out

I've Uninstalled updates and reinstalled I'll see if that works

Hate to say it, but have you tried the default app on the phone? I tried using the Verizon message+ also, but it just didn't work the way it did on my old phone. Finally switched to the default app and things were a little better.

I'm having the same issue with one of my contacts (daughter). It is driving me crazy trying to figure it out.

same.. and oddly enough it is for my wife as a contact. sometimes it just doesn't notify me of her texts and the conversation is not muted. although the UI is clunky, I like the features of message+. does the native app show delivery status and when the recipient is typing a response? I do also like the auto glympse. can't quite figure out the more thing but given the above, maybe should report it.

Try removing her contact, sync if you are using Google to store your contacts, then re-add. Just maybe...
