Should I receive notifications on my Moto360 when I receive SMS via the VZ messages app?

Is there a setting I am missing?

Probably not, everything Verizon makes is centuries behind. That said, you should be able to get any notifications your phone gets. But I wouldn't put it past Verizon somehow blocking wear.

I use Verizon Messages and I get notifications on both of my android wear watches.
