Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Is the main home screen always on the far left?

I liked having my screens set up so that a swipe to the left brings up one set of apps, and a swipe to the right brings up a different set. But it seems that it wants the home home screen on the far left. Keeping the original launcher is there a way to change where my home screen is?

Or, what's the most basic launcher app that will only give me new home screen options without adding more features. ( I like to keep my stuff as simple and stock as possible)

I was hesitant to load a new launcher because it was so new. But like one of the forum members mentioned in another thread, I always seem to find my way back to it.

I have Nova prime loaded and I couldn't be happier. The phone is so fluid it runs nova flawlessly

Nova/nova prime gives you a ton of customization possibilities

I don't suppose you ever figured out a way of doing this without changing launchers? I loved having the middle screen as default/main as well, from my Moto X and even Galaxy S3 days. Driving me nuts to not have it now.
Anyone have advice?

If you want your home screen in the middle, change launchers. Sorry. Nova is is a great launcher. I may even flip back to it when Lolly comes out just for change sake and I'm sure it's changed a lot since the last time I used it, but for now I'm using Apex, because I have for years.

Well, I hate to hear that, but thanks so much for the info. :)
I've never used a 3rd party launcher on Android - does that kill the Moto Voice functionalities? I really love my "Okay, Turbo!"

As was stated by xweb10, this will have no negative impact on the Moto Functionality. Plus, it is very easy to switch back to the factory launcher if you don't like whatever you decide to use. I strongly recommend either Apex or Nova. Both have a free version that re completely functional (obviously, the paid versions are more feature rich), and they will not slow the performance of your phone.

I started using the Google Now launcher several months ago and have grown so accustomed to the minimal launcher, with the default home the left most screen (but mostly the slide left gesture to open Google Now, which is so much better than sliding up from home and hoping to hit that Google logo that shows up in the arc, if it does show up), that I don't want to go back to other launchers like Nova (without changing them the same way.) I'm always surprised when people cannot get accustomed to such a minor change like that.

Anyway, everybody is right, Nova launcher is great if you must have the default center, plus it adds a ton more features that the stock launcher lacks. Apex I'm sure is also great (though I've not used it myself.) Not that you have to use them, but they are there if you need them. And, as dungoyle says, it's quite simple to uninstall it if you don't like it.
