Verizon Motorola DROID Turbo Lollipop?

This is a paragraph from an article in The International Times that my google alerts picked up. Is there a grain of truth, or just a confused author?

The Android L OS comes preloaded on the Google Nexus 6 phablet and the Google Nexus 9 tablet that were launched recently. The Motorola Droid Turbo which is expected to get unveiled soon will come preinstalled with Android L. There are plenty of the other Android smartphones that are all set to receive the Android L update very soon.​

I don't know that anyone will know for sure if it comes loaded with L, but my guess is that it will ship with 4.4.4.

I realize that the lollipop icons don't make much sense (triangle, Circle, square) but I think the fact it has the old buttons should point to it launching with 4.4

My biggest annoyance with play newsstand is you can't block this stuff. Forbes Now, huffing post blog, and many other sources are just content mills full of low paid contract workers creating click bait headlines with crappy content.

As per the article above I hope this ships with 4.4. Then we at least have a fighting chance at root and other goodies.

Has anyone noticed that when you create a new project in Eclipse, Android Google API 21 be listed as 4.X, and not as a 5.0?
