Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Total charge time from empty to full

Been combing through this Forum since day one and I haven't been able to find a reliable answer. I really am ready to get a phone that lasts from 7 am to 8 pm which is my normal day. On my Samsung GS3 I have a Seidio extended 3500 battery and I get like 5 hours if that under light use. If I need to fast charge my Samsung I use a 2.0 amp wall charger and will be over 90 percent in 3 hours from 30 percent.

What have you all found to charge from whatever to full. I know the 8 hours with power charger in 15 minutes. But truly placing it on charger to full and unhook and leave house

Took about 2 hours for mine to go from dead to 100% with the turbo charger.

What does 15 minutes of charging really give you? I ran an experiment and included screen shots.

In essence, the Turbo charger adds one percentage point (or slightly higher) per minute if you don't use the phone while charging. To go from 10% to full will take about 90 min or slightly less. To go from completely dead (which you shouldn't do) to full will be about an hour and 40 minutes, or slightly less.

To test discharge and charge, I took the phone down to 1% (took a little over 45 hours - screenshots in battery life thread) and put it on the charger with the phone on and undisturbed. After ~15 minutes, the battery indicator showed 20%. I'll update at one hour and two hours to see how it goes. I'm doing other stuff this morning so it will be an undisturbed charge except for collecting e-mails once an hour.

Update - Indicating 63% @ 1 hour of charging. Bottom of phone is warm to touch.

Update#2 - Indicating 89% @ 1 hour 30 minutes of charging. Temperature feels the same.

Update#3 - Sometime prior to two hours the indicator went to 100% of charge. Phone was cool to touch.

Note: This phone has not yet received the software update currently being pushed.

Yep, almost identical results to my own. Turbo charger adds about 1 percentage point per minute.

2 hours to fully charge up sounds awesome to me. I just purchased this today and will be using a Samsung 2.1 amp charger tonight as the Turbo Charger stays at my desk.

Yep took me right about 2hrs from 3% to full with the turbocharger.

Same as everyone else. About 2 hours from single digits to 100% with Turbo charger. Qi takes longer but I have that on my nightstand. Always topped off by morning.
