Verizon Note 2 Acting really weird

Hey guys, new guy here, been creeping the forums for a while, but need some help now


I have my Verizon Galaxy Note 2 that for some reason starts playing my sounds and notifications through the earpiece instead of the speaker, my ringer still comes through the speaker though.

also some sites that have streaming video that play on the built in android video player do not have sound.

if I restart the phone, everything except for the streaming sites will work right for a few hours.

This has started in the past few days. (The streaming sites worked fine a few days ago too)

I tried to use the backup and restore feature to reset the phone, but the problem still persists.

Any suggestions?

Bumping this up, it appears to be tied to my Bluetooth some how and now my girlfriends note 2 is doing the same, ask music, notifications and Ringer will play out the ear piece

If you go into settings Bluetooth then the bt device you have paired to the right of the device name is a gear icon. Open that and see if media audio is checked. Uncheck it that should help.
