No, Note 2 won't work on the new AWS spectrum. But it will benefit from newer devices (see link below) utilizing the new spectrum and freeing up the older spectrum the Note 2 uses. I've already noticed an improvement, especially at work which is a heavily populated business area.

Correct, no xlte on the note 2. Xlte was THE main reason I got the note 3
