Both. One of the things that concerns me about my N3 is maintaining resale value, as I did with the Note 2. Mind you, this is no Apple product, which has tremendous resale value, and this is coming from a guy who abhors anything Apple...but real recognizes real. The wobbly button will only get worse over time, and the fact that this phone will be fixed in America comforts me a bit. The button was getting more and more loose. I have no doubt that it would have just stopped working in the weeks/months ahead.
All the more reason why people need to force Samsung to address this issue. On the surface, it sounds petty, and I recognize that. But if enough Note 3 customers sends their phone in for repair, and it then affects Samsung's bottom line, then Quality Assurance processes can be implemented to prevent this sort of issue for future Note 3 manufacturing as well as their future products. As opposed to Quality Control, which detects errors...[I'm an MBA student with an MIS specialization...I got a ways to go, but this is kind of my thing, now.)]
All of you guys getting hot and bothered about the S5...I'd seriously caution being the first one in line for that...
