Verizon Note 5: Works with Android Auto

Just FYI ... I got Verizon's Note 5 to connect to Android Auto. Had to change the connection type to MTP first, and then tell the phone to ignore Verizon's stupid driving app, but then everything worked fine.

I just had the 4100nex installed yesterday and purchased the Verizon Note 5. Updated the firmware on the radio and followed your instructions, still no luck. Keep getting the message "incompatible USB". Android Auto software is installed and phone is completely updated and radio is set for "others" and USB2. Any ideas what can be the case?

I also need help just purchased the 4100 and i have the note 5 at&t, and says "incompatible USB" ahhhh wish it could just be easier HELP! PLEASE!

Make sure the phone is unlocked and open to the home screen.

I'm getting the same issuse saying incompatible usb and I brought new cables

Also it says when I plug in the usb my phone says unable to find software on your computer that recognize your device
