Verizon Note 8 Oreo PiP

[Android Central Question]

My Note 8 updated to Oreo build. The build should have PiP mode when playing YouTube video. I watched several videos and to enable PiP all you have to do is to press the Home button. When I press the Home button while watching the video, the app just closes.

Has Verizon disabled this feature, or there are some settings that needs to be enabled?

You have to subscribe to YouTube Red to use this feature on YouTube. It works in maps though

I subscribe to YouTube Red. Believe me, you're not missing much with PIP for YouTube. The screen is tiny and can't be resized.
