Line 1 = dumb phone (upgrade available)
Line 2 = 2G data plan (no upgrade)
Line 3 = unlimited data plan (upgrade available)
Here is what I did so far. I transferred the upgrade from Line 1 to Line 2 and used Line 2 to purchase S5 (should do the upgrade directly from Line 1).
My plan is to use the S5 for Line 3 but keep the Line 3 unlimited data and Line 1 still as a dumb phone. I'll get the phone this Wed and I'm sure what to do
1/ Use the old SIM card from Line 3 (S3) for new S5 and activate Line 3 (little scary because I might lose unlimited data plan)
2/ Use the new S5 to activate Line 1; drop the data plan and then switch back to the old plan as a dumb phone. Use the new S5 for Line 3 (I'm not sure if I should use the old or new SIM for Line 3)
