Verizon Pixel = Galaxy Nexus

Verizon will be handling the major updates for the Pixel not Google, it's just like the Galaxy Nexus which was a friggin disaster. Yet another reason to avoid the Pixel.

Know this is probably the wrong forum for this discussion, but it'll be interesting to see if VZW in some way diminishes or cripples Google-bought unlocked phones on its network. E.g. I'm willing to bet that wi-fi calling will only work with VZW sold units.
