I just got mine not through Verizon. Got it through google

So you have a Verizon version with other carrier and got the notification for the update? Which carrier?

No. Sorry I misunderstood your posting. I am on Verizon and using the phone with Verizon as when I downloaded the update nothing on it indicated that it was from Verizon. Like I mentioned it said I would only be able to download it through tomorrow which is something I have never seen from any other updates I have ever had on my previous phones

I went to settings, scrolled down to the bottom "about this phone" and phone status system updates and it was there waiting

Thanks - I was aware of that - I got the "Check for Update" thing from the Verizon site and was wondering if I was missing something - I am - the update -

My Google store pixel with vzw sim just updated to build NDE63V
Wonder why there are multiple builds. Anyone have any info on that?

The post directly above yours is me saying my Google store pixel got the update, although it's a slightly different build number

I've got a BB Pixel on ATT. Can I sideload the V build? Or do I HAVE to sideload the X build?

V = Google
X = Verizon
U = rest of the world

I don't really know and it's not clear if we must keep using the Verizon updates or else we could have issues, I just played safe this time and sideloaded the X version, but a guy on XDA, installed the"U" version and so far so good. Again don't really know if there can be an issue on the long run.

Good point. I just sideload the X for my BB Pixel.

I received the V version tonight and I bought mine through Rogers in Canada. I had not received notification for any updates so I restarted my phone and then checked for updates and the update appeared

I got my Pixel from Verizon, still no update. Do these updates come from Google, or Verizon?

I'm on Verizon but I think mine came from google as when it was downloading nothing for Verizon popped up nor did I receive any kind of notification from Verizon as I have on all my past phones
