Verizon Pre-order/Shipping

Has anyone either (A) received notification that their Verizon Pixel has shipped, or (B) actually received it?

(Comments about how stupid we are to have ordered from Verizon are appearing in many, many other threads; so not this one, please.)

My suspicion (and VZ experience) is that the web site will continue to say that even after people have started to receive their devices. So I posted this thread as a "truth detector."

Having just come through the Note 7 pre-order, we saw movement at FedEX at the beginning of the week for a Friday delivery. I expect a smaller pre-order, but with the Thursday launch day, I expect to see movement from Verizon about the same time -- Sunday or Monday, shipping on Tuesday. One day delivery will arrive Wednesday, and 2-day will arrive on Thursday. Of course that does not mean I won't be clicking regularly between now and then.

That said I preordered my XL via Verizon and the shipment date says 10/20. Fingers crossed it gets here on that date or maybe even sooner!

Verizon will have them in store on the 20th so I would think you will have your phone by the 19th if it is in line with the Note 7 pre-orders. I have the 7 and will probably exchange it for the Pixel XL but I want to hold one in my hand first.

FWIW, I noticed that my credit card was charged for the pending charges related to the phone last night - maybe shipping will be today (Tuesday) with delivery on Wednesday or Thursday?

Got a Verizon text that, " my order has been received and a text message will be sent when shipped". My order says the 20th.

My status says shipped with tracking for UPS.. .I thought I remembered it typically being FedEx. Not that I care how it gets here....as long as it does, haha.

I initially ordered mine from the google store - but delivery is not until 11/15. Now with the updates thing straightened out I may jump on the vzw pre-order to get it early. Interestingly, I put an order on my vzw account weeks ago and it is still sitting in my cart waiting to be processed.

Yesterday when I looked at my order from Verizon it had a delivery date of 10/20 and now the date is gone. Hope that means they are shipping it and it's not backordered.

If you want a a 128gb xl Verizon is now showing expected delivery of 11/18 for both colors
