Verizon Pre-Orders Available Now @ $199 (16GB) after $50 mail-in rebate

I don't understand why they wouldn't release a 32GB....it's obvious that people want it. I don't get how the 32GB or any other higher memory phone wouldn't sell. I don't have a need for higher than 16GB but that's just me. I don't use mine for music except ring tones. Though i have lots of pictures. All that though is saved on my memory card. Is there a certain phone that didn't sell so good that companies are basing this on? I was under the impression that the S3 sold well. Also another question does disabling apps free up space. Not trying to start an argument about 32GB vs. 16GB just thought it did

No disabling will not free up space. it will just stop them from showing up in your app drawer and they will not be able to be opened by you or the system until you enable them.

Has anyone received a confirmation email? I pre ordered yesterday morning and still haven't received a confirmation email. I did receive a text confirmation from Verizon asking me to reply YES to make sure it's not a fraudulent purchase since I ordered it at full retail. Once I replied YES I didn't get a text response either.

I received an email order confirmation yesterday after I ordered. I paid full price also. You might want to give them a call to make sure the order went through.

Re: Verizon Pre-Orders Begin April 25th

I like the 32GB version. 64GB is too much.

I used to think 64GB was too much but then I realized my media was taking around 22 GB of space. So even though I have a good amount of space left, it goes quicker with the HD videos these phones take nowadays. I mean what's the point of being back to record in full HD is you have to revery to a lower quality to save space? So I now have to get 64GB of any phone just so I can have space for the additional media that will be captured on the phone. I wish there was a such thing as 48GB LOL.

I got my confirmation only a few minutes after I submitted order. Also got the fraud text from Verizon but also didn't get a response back from that either. I

Re: Verizon Pre-Orders Begin April 25th @ $199 (16GB) after $50 mail-in rebate

Here's goes a LONG 5 weeks!! Does anyone know if the note 2 shipped early since they had such a long preorder too?

Nope, didn't ship a day early. Got it on the same day it was available in stores.

Definitely not liking the thought of having to wait until late May to get my hands on my review unit. Hoping my rep can get one to me a little early.

Verizon is pretty much mimicking the USCellular release last year of the GS3. Later than other carrier launch, and charging more up front for it.

Re: Verizon Pre-Orders Begin April 25th @ $199 (16GB) after $50 mail-in rebate

Why is everybody so worried about the 16GB not having enough space? Just buy an SD card and put your music and files on it. You can get a 32GB SD card on Amazon for about $25 and have 48GB of space total. The Apps themselves will still have plenty of space on the internal storage. On my Droid Bionic, I have 55 Apps installed and they take up 4GB combined.

Do ya get the rebate if ya pay retail?

Re: Verizon Pre-Orders Begin April 25th @ $199 (16GB) after $50 mail-in rebate

Somebody please tell me how I can get a Galaxy S4 or HTC One without waiting till the end of May. I am taking a vacation to New York from the 8th to the 22nd and it would be much more enjoyable with a nice phone as mine is broken but I'm waiting till then to use the good ole upgrade. The HTC One Dev Edition only works on GSM carriers and I don't know about an unlocked GS4. Does the AT&T version carry a CDMA radio and is hence unlockable? Any creative ideas are welcome, I am desperate.

Only option you have is switching carriers or waiting.
An I think the rebate is only for subsidized phones.
