They didn't sell the GS2 and the GS1 (Fascinate) wasn't the most popular Android phone at the time on Verizon.

Just called....store release here in Seattle is the 10 th...Even opening up 2 hrs early for launch donuts n coffee. Manager even said fully stock. I had asked why does website say 12, she did some calling around. Called her regional HQ. Called me back told me be in on Tuesday july 10 n you will walk out with SG3. Manager said vzw website sales different then store sales. I was also told to come in Monday after 4 pm and they will have the tester phones set up to play with. We will see what happens.

I have seen the email sent out this morning to ALL Verizon corporate stores and the official launch is now the 12th. So you might get donuts but that's it!

I won't get mine until the 19th....due to an issue with my pre order!! I will call Verizon Monday morning to ask them why the hold up and when you sent me a confirmation email stating the 11th....why the sudden change.

I called 5 corporate stores...all of them initially said July 10th, but when I asked them to verify it in their systems they all came back with "Oh it's been pushed out until the 12th".

I pre-ordered at Best Buy so I called and I gave them my sku so they could look it up (said it wasn't even in their systems yet) and they also said July 12th.
