Verizon Rezound to LG G4 Best way to transfer Data and Apps

Bought the rezound 3 years ago for the camera. Now I am buying the LG G4 (used on ebay) for the same reason. (I know, three years between phones? I am cheap) How can I best do a back up and transfer? I know it will be painful...I do have an SD card , but should I use that? I am old, not very savvy, and fear it will be a nightmare. So keep it simple, please. I am, sadly, a verizon customer. (but I do have unlimited data!) Help!

Try the geek squad data transfer app. It's on the play store. It should move everything over to the new phone(it worked great for me). The app will need to be on both phones.
