Couldn't tell you. I didn't remove mine and suffered no ill effects.

It's downloading now. Hopefully it doesn't have some of the same issues as my friends LG G2. Play music stops working after 3-4 songs that have been pinned.

Just finished my update. Took the sd card out before it finished downloading to be safe. Seems to be fine, but a tiny bit laggy, but it's probably just the phone settling down after the update (I used to flash lots of roms on my last phone and experienced lag like that for a day or so).

Any major changes besides the upper nav bar icons being white? (I use Go Launcher, so no idea if anything changed on the stock screens)

Anyone notice at the top both the Wifi icon and 4G are visible after the update?

Is this an issue?

I know when I first got the device this was an issue and to solve it, it required turning off the City ID app.

How crucial is it to do a data reset after the update? I remember that used to be recommended. Is that still that case?

I have never done a reset on mine, works just fine after each update. I think its hit and miss, a reset will usually clear up most issues if one pops up after an update.

I noticed that all my pictures under "camera" were erased.
