Verizon S8 + Pictures including Bloat ETC.

I played around with the S8/S8+ at Best Buy yesterday (again) and I must say, I like my G6 compared to the S8s. I absolutely hated the fingerprint sensor location on the S8s. My tiny fingers had to really stretch to use them and I don't want to burn out my eyeballs by using the iris scanner.

I too went to best buy over the weekend to compare my s7 edge to the s8+. I was concerned that I wouldn't like the 18:9 aspect ratio, but I ended up really digging it. I also wanted to see if there were any differences in cameras, to which they are slight. It seemed to focus better/faster, although my mind may have been playing tricks on me. The screen on the s8+ looked brighter with better saturation and contrast.

All in all, can't wait to get my s8+. Not a huge leap forward, but a nice incremental hop.

You can trade it in on the S8 on Verizon, not the S8 plus. I think you get $360 for the note 4.. But you get it in DPP credits over 2 years, that's how they advertise as low as $15 month for the S8

That is some BS. My boss was asking me for advice as he's got the Note 4 and they told him the same thing, so he kind of got cornered into getting the S8 instead of the S8+.

My eyes are already burnt. :-\

i am on purpose staying away from stores that have these, so that when i pull mine from the box on the 21st, it will be a new experience.

I do really hate that Verizon blocks stuff, very happy to see no branding on the outside of the phone.

So I'm guessing Verizon is using the same UI as well? Unlike with the Note 7 when everyone else was using Grace UI and Verizon still had the stale UI look which was seen mostly in the settings menu. Also sounds like they removed Samsung cloud. Actually more like hid it. Hopefully we can unhide the same way as the Note 7 and use it. Here's the thread that had the instructions to do so http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...k-i-found-samsung-cloud-verizon-note-7-a.html

Will try it immediately.

This is a smart move. Stay away from Best Buy.

Iris scanners are way more accurate than fingerprint scanners - way, way more accurate actually. I've had problems with the samsung fingerprint swipe in the past and once it goes bad, it's a tough problem to fix.

Samsung rep said all Verizon bloatware can be removed, save for four Samsung apps.
