No. He has the Sprint one.

It'll work on AT&T and T-Mobile but not to the best of it's abilities. Such as I don't think it has band 12 for T-Mobile.

Did you end up buying the Verizon GS8 and try to use it on Sprint? Maybe it will work after you flash the Verizon GS8 with the Sprint GS8 firmware and then activate it on Sprint by adding the device with the IMEI number.

There is only one version in the US. All carrier radios are there. I remember reading somewhere that if you put another carrier SIM in, and do a factory reset it set the phone up for that carrier. Of course you need you phone to be unlocked.
