Verizon S9 July Secuirty Update

Found it this morning, so far so good. I can't tell if the battery is draining a little faster or not, it is a 2 year old phone (cue the sarcasm) I did notice one new feature, when I pull down the notification bar, there is now a software power button, how helpful (?)
it is One UI 2.1, July security and build G9600USQU7ETG2
what changes have I missed
