Verizon TAB 4GLTE

@Soba1: I think you really can't appreciate how good the 10.1 is until you hold one in your hand. You'll see when you get it home from the store tonight.

There are other tablets that have more features and can do some cool things, but holding the Tab just feels right.

Once you see the brilliant screen, and really personalize the tablet to your liking, I don't believe any other tablet comes close to the experience. I personally have owned and used (not just purchased for a week and returned it to the store) the Galaxy Tab 7in, both iPads, the Xoom, and now the 10.1.

I can almost guaranteee you that you won't be disappointed with the 10.1.

Every tablet I have owned I have sold to someone else, except my 10.1. It really is all of that!!

Thanks Das I owned the Xoom briefly and brought it back quick fast and in a hurry. Stuck with the 7". I did play with one at BB. But u are right it wont be the same til I actually sit down and take this sucker for a spin at home. I am soooo looking forward to it.

I'm getting the 32gig full retail. whats a 100.00 bucks when u are stuck in a two year contract. I have been waiting for this thing since Feb. A fellow geek co-worker has an ipad2 he was trying to get me to get the tab at lunch time so he could compare. I have seen the pics side by side and the ipad 2 screen cannot compare.

If I pick one of these up, can I switch the SIM from my Charge to the Tab and back as needed? If not (or not easily), I'm thinking I'll just get WiFi and hotspot via the phone.

This seems to be turning technical. But I love this thing. The ui is niiiiice. Loaded some gamez from the Tegra 2 zone. Holy frggin moly:-)

Their monthly data plans are:

$30 for 2gb

$50 for 5gb

$80 for 10gb

If these figures are incorrect someone please advise.

The advantage to using my Evo4g is that I get unlimited data with Sprint, so I don't have to worry about a cap. However, with everything in life there is always a trade off somewhere else.

I can't be on the phone and browse the Tab at the same time, and like I stated before, I do have to be concerned about batter life.

Otherwise, I have a great option with the hotspot feature on the phone.

It won't take long with streaming, netflix, etc., to blow right through the 10gb $80 price tag! That's what is so sad.

Any reports on these? Can anyone that purchased one comment on speeds, etc...

Thanks.

Just not sure this is worth it since I already have the Thunderbolt Rooted so I can get the hotspot if need be.

Anyone getting a lot of force closes?

I reformatted and it still happens.

Getting one after work tonight! Can't wait to get rid of this XOOM.
