Verizon TAB 4GLTE

I believe the Tab uses a micro SIM to avoid that very thing

A friend of mine (who is into Apple kit in a major way) was telling me that there's a cutter one can buy to trim a SIM to micro-SIM size. Apparently it comes with an adapter so the resulting micro-SIM can still be used in the SIM device. Wonder if that'd work here...

Hi guys,
I would like to know if you have the same problem with the battery :

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G fast, but battery life is short

He is talking about 4-5 hours battery life while watching video.

I agree wholeheartedly. I battery life is very short with 4g on. I wish there was a toggle to turn it off. Compared to my ipad2 with doing the same functions, watching movies and playing games it is no competition. I love the speed of the sam 10, but it is hindered by 4g. It kills the battery.

You can't turn off 4g ???

I’d expected to find the battery life on this model wanting due to the 4G radio inside. After all, 4G phones have had some issues with this. But as I used the tablet, I didn’t note a significant power drain. But anecdotal data isn’t as good as a test, right? So I loaded up the Android Battery Test made by our friends over at Laptop Magazine.

When I tested the Wi-Fi version of the Tab it lasted 8 hours and 23 minutes, which uses the stock browser to surf the web constantly until the battery dies. How did the 4G version do? 6 hours and 20 minutes. Just 2 hours less.

Very easy to do.
Does anyone know of a app with a widget / shortcut for this process?

Does anyone know if the mobile hotspot feature is free? Or is it free up to the amount of gb you purchased? I only have 2gb so can I tether my tab up to 2gb? Thanks!

I use widgetsoid and have a bar with buttons to toggle airplane mode, wifi, bluetooth, data settings

Cool, thanks for the point in the right direction.
Are you able to get the data connection toggle to work? I can get it to turn off data, but not turn it back on.
I read his site and tried the options he listed but I still cant get it to work.

Yes, it just deducts from your data plan. Use it as much as you want. Glad to see Verizon is taking the high road on this one.
