verizon tablet qmv7b root

I have the a qmv7b tablet I got free from Verizon. It worked fine untill you add apps to it then it becomes unusable. Just terribly slow. So then it just sits there and doesn't get used. So I decided to root it. I used Kingoroot and it worked. But I'm not sure what to do next. Is there a "backup" of some sort that I should do so I can restore it back to the original way it was? Do I start removing the Verizon apps that I couldn't remove previously? Any recommended apps I should download?
