Verizon trade in question

Good afternoon i specified that I would be a trading in an old v10 which is no longer active on my account for the 300 dollar credit, I received the box for the trade in today in the mail but leery about sending in my trade until I get my pixel xl 128. I would hate to send my phone in and there be a major delay pushing back my expected ship date on my pixel xl and essentially giving them a free phone What would you do?

You have 14 days from activation of the phone to claim the credit. I just traded in a Note 2 for my $200 credit today and I got my Verizon Pixel on the 20th.

i havent even gotten my pixel xl yet, i decided im not sending in to til i have phone in hand
