Verizon version?

No issues jude. As a business you would think they would wanna wrap me up for another 2 years as soon as possible tho no? Dont give me a chance to shop around at other carriers, it doesnt matter about it being early bc they would still get 24 months worth of checks/payments regardless...i dont know, its just frustrating, carriers constantly ask for your loyalty and they show none. And dont even get me started on my 3g signal at home, its pitiful and im on the south shore of long island for gods sake...i have my doubts about the 4g near my house if they cant get 3g right....

Given that the Rezound is currently on sale for $50 via Verizon Online it might be worth making another call.

I remember calling Verizon because I was frustrated they didn't have data coverage in Lake Havasu, AZ and the representative was very nice and explained the situation. At the end of the call he was gently pushing to see if I wanted to upgrade my phone - he seemed like he was willing to make some deals.

I've also heard that some customers have to pay an early termination fee but then the rep credits their bill for the same amount. As before, if you like the Rezound it's worth making a call.

I have an upgrade in august. I have been a loyal verizon customer for 10 years. They have denied me on numerous occasions to upgrade early. If they dont have a one series phone by august i am SERIOUSLY gonna consider leaving. And i dont want an incredible variant of the one series, i've had both previous incredibles, i deserve a high end HTC product. If they gave me an early upgrade now i'd get a rezound, the phone is phenomenal and underrated IMO, verizon never did the phone any justice. But come august it will be nearly a year old and i want some high end sense 4. Get it together verizon !

This. I have no desire for low-end hardware. Especially low-end htc hardware like the one s gross.

the one s isnt really low end. S4 processor, yeah I guess some will that qhd is low end but other than that its far from low end.

According to the comparison here, I really wouldn't consider the OneS low-end. The OneV gets that honor. But the OneS is barley mid-range. It is so far from the OneX, why would anyone even consider it. Of course, I guess you might feel compelled to consider it if your carrier is getting a variant of it and not the OneX. Kinda like Verizon's Fireball and how it is suppose to be a OneS-type phone.

Somthing tells me they are pulling an Evo...meaning just like Sprint's Evo is a rebadged One X...this "Incredible HD or 3" is Verizon's rebadged one????

Looks like the One S to me. :(

The small screen size and qHD display would prevent me from having any interest in the phone. In fact, it looks like it's a downgrade from the current HTC Rezound.

My bet, for what it's worth, is Verizon will modify a version of the HTC One X and market it as a replacement for the original Thunderbolt. Sadly, I also bet the launch of this phone could be months away.

I think you might be right. Definitely would be a bummer if this is what we get instead of a One X. Spec's aside, its just another ugly droid-vzw-esque design. I want the the X....that thing is butter.

I like my galaxy nexus. It does what I want it to and has a beautiful screen that is great in sunlight. I have found that if you hold out for the next best phone, you will never get a new phone. Set a date to buy a new phone, when that date comes buy the phone that fits you best and be happy with it. Do not worry about what is released a month later.
If I could follow this advice it would be a miracle!!!!

Agreed. That new d-inc looks like a##. Verizon is like a upscale tmobile. I use the word upscale in this case referring to the service.
