Verizon Visual Voice Mail Nuisance

So I came from a Samsung Galaxy S10 to the Samsung S20 Ultra and I've noticed the Verizon Voice Mail app is different in two ways.

1) On my S10 I never had to delete or archive voice messages. Now my mail box will get full if I don't.
2) I have to listen to the entire message for the new message indicator to disappear. If I don't listen to the message in it's entirety it still shows as a new message.

Is there anyway to get the old Verizon Visual Voice Mail App?

The app is not great, so I ended up using Google Voice. It's much easier and the voice transcripts are way better
