Basic visual voice mail is free.

How do you sign up for it? I would prefer visual voice mail over the standard on my pure which is used on Verizon.

I would guess you can add it to your account from the web page access. I know I had to add it when I signed up for advanced calling on my Droid Maxx, and I probably did it from my phone at that time, but it's been so long, I don't recall the details.

What's the difference between this and the Motorola Verizon VV? I use Google voice so I'm not sure. I just know that visual voicemail on a Motorola on Verizon always seemed like I needed another MBA to figure it out. Too many apps and options and activations necessary.

I don't get enough voice mails to worry about it...besides...letting a software robot try and decipher what someone said in a voicemail is a joke at best. I suppose if you like a good laugh now and then it's worth the trouble??

I use GV not for the visual feature actually, I use it for its ease of use for accessing all of my voice mails. I can never go back to dialing into a number and entering a pw each time.

You can add your password to the voicemail number after you use one or two commas between the number and the password/pin. Then it's just one tap of one button to get it all. Easy
