Verizon VoLTE

So Verizon now specifies that the following phones are VoLTE compatible:

iPhone 6 and 6+
Samsung S5
LG G2

I guess the HTC One M8 is too old? :-/

Who knows the reasoning .. Usually it is the newer phones that get VoLTE -- The G2 was in there due to it being part of their internal testing.

That would hopefully be incorrect. I remember reading in multiple different places that the one m8 would be VoLTE capable. Pretty sure one source was Verizon's website itself. Maybe they just ommitted it from their list??

Or more likely, the update required on the radio's hasn't been pushed yet.

The update just hasn't been pushed yet. The M8 and other phones are capable, they just need Verizon to flip the switch, so to speak.
