Yeah, this must be a mistake. Sometimes these flyers are made up to six weeks in advance. Six weeks ago there was still a lot of confusion about the name of the device.

there was no confusion amongst verizon where they would be getting the info from. Wasn't the prime in verizon's celebrite system?

They also had it in print that the VZW HTC Merge was coming soon. We all see how well that went over. They are misinformed.

The VZW press release called it Galaxy Nexus. End of.story.

And don't forget about the Thunderbolt. They had an ad saying it was available what a month prior to the actual launch?

best buy always charges more. both thunderbolt and charge are 799 at best buy and they are 569 at verizon.

i was as surprised as you are when i saw this. im sure it will be called the galaxy nexus. just wanted to show that there are prices in print. im putting my money on dec. 8 release date as well.

maybe verizon found the volume problem before they released it. thus verizon wont have the problems europe is having?

This ad looks like it's for 11/27. I agree. I this was made up a couple of months ago. They will probably have something in store correcting the ad. Just bizarre is the only way to sum up these pictures.

After best buy gave the thunderbolt a freaking preorder before it was announced and had it in more than one ad wrong, I have lost faith in them and laugh that people actually believe this company who has screwed up phone info so many times before!

After going through the Thunderbolt launch I will never believe any BB ad, I really don't care what they call it as long as I can have it soon.
