I have the VZW wireless charging stand and my note 3 has the samsung wireless charging battery cover installed. It all works fine except gSam shows it only charges at 640 mA. VZW claims it charges at 1000 mA. Of course at that charge rate it takes forever to charge the battery in a note 3. If you have a wireless charger could you check with gSam or some other app that shows charging amps could you report what yours says? Of course I am interested in the same stand I have in case mine is defective but I'm also interezted in the tylt vu stand or any other you might have. Thanks!

The stand is capable of supplying 1000mA. Charging receivers draw 640mA. So both numbers are correct. (If you plug a 100 Watt [approximately 1 Amp] light bulb into a 30 Amp outlet, it's not going to draw 30 Amps.)

640mA (I'm looking at the Galaxy Charging Current app right now) on wireless charging, 1200mA on the Samsung wall charger, about 450mA on USB.

In this case, Verizon isn't lying, they're just reading the label. (My charging plate is also rated 5 Volts at 1000mA output on its label. The Note 3 still charges at 640mA.)
