I have been reading Consumer Affairs was a bunch of Verizon Wireless complaints and I have not ever had a single problem. Do I think it's expensive yes I sure do but I have never had a problem with the service. what have you all the experiences been like? Please be detailed either good or bad.

Remember, Verizon has 100 million customers and thousands of phone reps. It is inevitable that some of those interactions will be poor, whether the result of poor reps or unrealistic customers.
It is a given that some unhappy customers post complaints, while the happy ones don't bother to post of their good experience. Actions speak louder than words, and Verizon has extremely low customer churn, so it stands to reason that the overwhelming majority are happy with their service, or else they'd move. Of course, we'd all like cheaper rates!

There are actually millions of dissatisfied Verizon customers. It's just that if you complain on any of their message boards, or you complain too frequently to customer service, you get banned. I quit Verizon Wireless a year ago. I had been a customer for 17 years, and I had to quit because they simply priced me out of the market. For a plan with only two phones, (one an IPhone and one a plain vanilla "dumb" phone) I was paying over $300 per month. Data use on the IPhone was well under 1 GB monthly; the other phone could not access the internet at all. Verizon boxed me into this plan and refused to negotiate any cheaper plan for me because I refused to sign another 2-year contract. I switched to T-Mobile and gave my pocketbook a break. Now I have 3 smartphones with unlimited everything for $140 per month (including taxes). Consumer's Union, the publisher of Consumer Reports, recently refused to name Verizon as a recommended carrier. Why? The prohibitively expensive prices and the poor customer service. There is no value there for your money. They do have good coverage, but not better than other carriers like T-Mobile. Their prices are definitely NOT competitive at all. They love to stick you with hidden fees. For example, their current "two lines for $100" is rife with all sorts of hidden fees like extra line charges, where T-Mobile's $100 plan simply costs $100 (plus the taxes). Also, all Verizon phones are CDMA and cannot be switched to other carriers. This makes them worthless when you leave Verizon. When we left Verizon, we could only get $15 for the IPhone mentioned above because it was not transportable. :( The bottom line is this--if you're rich, stick with Verizon.

To make it clear, we do allow discussion of Verizon, both positive and negative,so long as it follows the community guidelines linked to in my signature. You can look here in the Verizon sub forum and find a number of Verizon complaint posts.

I do agree that Verizon has poor customer service, and their plans are priced higher in general than tmobile. in general they are priced very close to att.

Overall Verizon coverage is the best. Though for your specific situation, another carrier could match or even exceed Verizon.

Assuming that it is an iPhone 5s/5c /6/6p,then it is fully compatible with gsm networks like att and tmobile and is factory sim unlocked, so you can take the device to gsm carriers at any time.

Sorry, but there is no way a 2 line plan cost you $300, unless you are leaving out significant relevant information
