Verizon Wireless painfully slow?

I live north of you in Stanwood. I'm also on Verizon and I get amazing speeds up here. My download speed is always above 40 and uploads are in the mid 20's. In fact I've seen downloads in the mid-60's quite often. Ping is 30 - 50ms usually.

Yeah, today 7down/0.7up... After the April update, I'll prob do a cache partition wipe. Hopefully that will help?

Today... 60down/30up. Definitely some network problems with Verizon. Zero consistency.

I've upgraded to Android N, it's no help with this problem. I tested again in Nashua on Sunday, got Band 2 again, 2.26 down, .62 up. It was a -63dBM signal, and the tower is only 500M away from the point that I did the test.

Has anyone called Verizon to see if there is some provisioning problem with the phone? I get decent results on Band 4, I got 39.47 down and 4.75 up in Portland ME on Saturday. I've never seen high than that on this phone, I didn't know Verizon was capable of 60 down/30 up. Are you sure that you weren't on WiFI when you did that measurement?

I just had a conversation with Verizon tech support. I was told that Verizon doesn't support 1900MHz (Band 2) on the 6P, only 700 MHz and 1700 MHz, apparently Google didn't list 1900MHz in the specs they gave Verizon even through the phone has 1900MHz support. He suggested that I give them a call again when I'm at the bad location (for me that's Nashua NH) and they will try and troubleshoot it then.
