Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Android 5.1.1 OTA soon

upgrade took ~31 minutes! Must have been the 159 apps it had to optimize! Now let's see how it is!

Mine is downloading now. Hope I see the improvements

Seems that I got an update too, didn't know it was downloaded. I thought it would be just a security fix. Taking a while, see how it goes. App 115 of 127 so far!

I am not seeing a way to remove the notification that says what wifi network I am connected to in the notification area.

I like so far, finger scanner is way better. All seems smoother so far, charging it to top it off to see battery life.

Same here! I even went into the advanced WiFi settings and checked and unchecked the boxes regarding notifications. Still, there it sits. Now, I have 2 eternal notifications: The WiFi, and the notification to let me know that Fitbit Notifications are running.

Can anyone tell me if their open chrome tabs stayed there or were cleared out?

Device is snappier. Bluetooth works for me. Battery hasn't gotten hot yet. Will have to watch battery drain to see if it's better

I just cleared the cache partition and updated and the phone seems way faster! Hopefully it stays that way and battery life is improved also. I noticed they brought back the counter for on battery time too.

I just got the update and it's a security update. Is this still 5.1.1?

Posted from the one and only Note 4

Just updated and that notification is annoying. There must be a way to remove it.

Here is something odd. Under the wifi advanced settings: autoconnect, it says automatically connect to AT&T wifi Hotspot if available. Is that new, and why would a Verizon phone have an auto connect for AT&T wifi?
