They will give me 155 for my G5

Mine too. You could get the $300, but they break that over 24 monthly credits. The G5 trade in about 2 weeks ago was $200 when I checking on trading in for Pixel.

That's odd, because the G4 is listed as eligible for the full $300.

You get $300 back if you do payment plan. All their new phones offer it, and G5 is eligible phone to trade in for it. However, they changed this recently I believe, where you can't just pay off the payment plan the following month. You then lose the credit once paid off. Really sucks now.

Make sure we are talking about the same thing.
Trade in $300 special - must be on device plan, gives you 24 monthly credits
Trade in regularly - You give them phone, they give you $155 right back.

I will sell it on Swappa or may just keep it as backup.
Is there any addition line charges with the payment plan like I hear they do with subsidized contract? I don't see any access fees over 9.99 on my current plans. I have a phone off contract and two on. Someone said they charge more for 2 year plans but maybe that's something new.

Okay, never mind, its showing me $200 if I go the trade in route (the $300 special). Definitely not going to wait 2 years so I can get $45 extra bucks.

Unless they do something special with a promo code that allows you to trade in any device for 300 which I doubt.

I can get a bit more than 300 especially since I have 3 cases with it. I also have two extra batteries and charging cradles but I will probably keep them as emergency battery chargers.

Give them a call and sweet talk them. Question why older phones like the G4 and V10 qualify for the full $300 and they may make an exception. If they agree, they can give you a promo code to enter in the appraisal screen to force the full amount.

I used to think this. Not sure if that was changed again or I read the fine print wrong, because now it looks to me like you can pay it off but just have to keep the line active.

Pre-order seems active because I could get it in my cart, but I think the trade in offer isn't fully in place yet. The page just went live within the past couple hours, and didn't give me the $300 appraisal for my G4. The Pixel would give me $300.

Yep. Meant $30. That is with the $20 if a two year contract phone.

can someone confirm something a Verizon Rep just told me? She said the V20 is eligible for Upgrade after 1 year of payments. She also said any phone I get would be eligible. I thought it was only certain phones?

Be careful. If a two year contract, $20 a month goes somewhere. That's how they get folks
